Jordan Singer

I am a professor of law at New England Law | Boston, where I teach courses on judicial process, civil procedure, and intellectual property.  Prior to teaching, I was the Director of Research at the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System at the University of Denver (IAALS), and a litigator in private practice.

Most of my research focuses on the relationship between courts and their users.  I have written extensively on judicial selection, judicial performance evaluation, court productivity, and bench presence (the time a trial judge spends in the courtroom).

I have also worked frequently with state courts on issues of judicial performance evaluation and civil litigation reform.
